Association of Women Surgeons - DC Chapter Poster Competition
The Association of Women Surgeons - Metropolitan Washington DC Chapter is pleased to announce its 3rd Annual Student/Resident/Fellow Poster Competition. It is designed to facilitate mentorship, interaction, and idea exchange between female students (undergraduates or medical students) interested in surgery, surgical residents, fellows, and faculty members of the many institutions within our geographic region. We invite women surgeons of all surgical specialties to participate. Seven finalists will be invited to present their posters at the AWS Breakfast on Saturday, March 24, 2012 (held in conjunction with the 2012 All Surgeon’s Day hosted by the Metropolitan Washington DC Chapter of the American College of Surgeons).

The written abstract will be used in making selections for poster presentations at the meeting. Topics eligible for submissions include: Case Reports, Basic Science, Clinical Outcomes, Epidemiology, and Health Policy. Abstracts must be submitted no later than 12:00 PM EST Wednesday, February 15, 2012 to dcwomensurgeons@gmail.com.
